About

Rosalie Waters Mountain Hideaway is made up of two cabins. They are set on a large property which was previously a school camp – Rosalie Waters, back in the early 70’s. Before that, the surrounding land was dairy farms. Our property was where the initial homestead was located. It’s now long gone, but the gorgeous, nature filled rolling hills still remain for your enjoyment. Perfect accommodation in Ocean View.

Our family bought the property, and moved our quickly growing honey packing business, BUSH HONEY, onsite to give it more room to expand.

It was a much added bonus to have these cabins to share with people. We are lucky enough to have the local wildlife come for a visit also. Ocean View is home to Red-necked Wallabies and they are regularly grazing around the cabins. The bird life here is amazing, with rosellas, black cockatoos, king parrots and sea eagles, just to name a few.

Why not experience some of the local restaurants, head to the shops or enjoy the beautiful walks in the National parks while staying with us.
